Digital Divide / Great Computer & Broadband Access Give-Away Project
Want a free computer? Give us just 10 hours of volunteers services at the Lake Worth Resource Center and we'll give you a free, refurbished computer!
The Mentoring Center knows "How to Build a Community-based Digital Divide Solution". Since 2006 we've partnered with school districts, government agencies and community-based organizations to distribute refurbished computers, free software and free Broadband and DSL access to our most economically challenged communities. Our center also provides computer and Internet-based training. Plus, we've recently shared how to build a successful solution at the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) K-12 Conference. Shrinking the Digital Divide helps the Mentoring Center deliver its programs and services! Learn how to partner with the Mentoring Center to replicate our solution. We are ready to partner with your community.
