The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, connects people who care with causes that matter. To date, the Community Foundation has granted over $4.5 million in scholarships to over 1,200 students and $74 million to the community in the areas of Arts and Culture, Community Initiatives, Community/Economic Development, Education, Environment, Health and Human Services, Human and Race Relations and Intergenerational Programs. Hardrives, Inc. George Elmore founded Hardrives in 1953. His motto is "No client or employee is to be cheated or mistreated." That was Mr. Elmore's feeling when he contracted for his first job (paving a driveway for $125) and its still true today when Hardrives is under contract with dozens of municipalities.
